Welcome to the YOUTH PAGE brought to you by ACCYP  

Assynt Christian Community Youth Project is here to provide activities for all young people in Assynt throughout the year.

What’s on???

The Element is held every Monday and Wednesday 7-9 pm during term time.

Element exists to provide all young people in the area with
* A safe place to meet and be together
* A good atmosphere in which to study and get support for homework and revision
* A secure setting to enjoy sports, games, computers, craft, and Xbox fun.
It also provides young people with a place to buy loads of sweets and drinks and crisps.  First drink of tea, coffee or (what your English youthworker calls) squash is free.

Teen Café  - Saturday night drop-in on 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month

Teen Café exists to provide a fun Saturday night venue where all young people in Assynt can enjoy activities safely.
Pool, table tennis, table football, games hall, films, quizzes, competitions, Xbox, craft activities, sweeties.

Girls on the Move
An hour of free fitness training for all young women in Assynt funded by the Girls on the Move project
Wednesdays 5-6pm.  Free smoothies after the session.

What does it cost??

It’s free to come to Teen Café and Element. Those using the sports hall must show their Young Scot or HiLife ID at reception.

What’s ACCYP??

Assynt Christian Community Youth Project is a voluntary organisation. Our committee is made up of Christians in the area.  Our aim is to help young people develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities through leisure activities.
ACCYP is funded by the Church of Scotland Parish Development Fund and Youth Scotland Cashback for Communities

Staff:  Mrs Cle Jarvis is our Youth and Community Development Worker.
         Teen Café and the Element are staffed by volunteers and members of the ACCYP committee.
